Local Resources on Aging

The Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association offers a wide variety of free, local programs and services specifically designed for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other dementias as well as families, caregivers, professionals, and the community. Services include care consultations, 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900, education, support groups and more. The Northwest Ohio Chapter serves 24 counties in Ohio and has offices located in Maumee, Findlay and Mansfield. The Alzheimer's Association's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Arbors at Oregon Arbors at Oregon specializes in private rehab suites featuring beautiful walk in showers and a separate outside entrance for those looking for a different environment from a typical long term care facility. We also specialize in pulmonary care under the care of Dr. Hani Jacob and feature 24/7 Respiratory Therapy in the building at all times. On this unit, we can accept patients on ventilators, with tracheostomies, and those requiring hi-flow Oxygen.

Arbors at Sylvania features excellent care and rehabilitation including, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech, in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also specialize in serving those who have served us with our programming geared toward veterans and we even have a Veteran’s Administration contract to admit and care for these patients.
