NOGA

NOGA is a multidisplinary professional organization in Northwest Ohio that offers educational opportunities to individuals involved in the care of older adults.

Meetings

Meetings are typically held the first Thursday of every month. However, please check the program description for the time and location as these will vary from month to month. Each meeting provides an initial 30 minutes for networking followed by a one hour presentation.

Upcoming NOGA Meetings for 2020:

SAVE THE DATE!  December 3, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for NOGA's Annual Holiday Celebration at Te`kela Mexican Restaurant in Sylvania (5147 Main Street, Sylvania 43560). We will have a private room for this in-person event (please wear your mask). No Zoom option. For planning purposes we are asking for RSVPs. Just send a quick email to the office at al4noga@bex.net! November 5, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. for NOGA's Networking and Program Meeting on "Elder Law & Estate Planning" by Phil Wylkan, Attorney at Law, Wylkan Certified Elder Law Attorneys. The meeting will be held both in-person (at Skyline Financial Group, 7150 W. Central Avenue, Ste. 100, Conference Room on Right) or via ZOOM. ZOOM link to be sent out the week of the meeting. June 4, 2020 NOGA's Celebration Event and Annual Membership Meeting from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. via ZOOM!  More details forthcoming at the end of May along with the ZOOM link for this event.  

April 2, 2020 NOGA's Monthly Networking and Program Meeting Cancelled

Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for NOGA's Monthly Networking and Program Meeting at StoryPoint in Waterville (1470 Pray Blvd., Waterville, OH 43566). Members and guests are invited for a time of networking over a continental breakfast and our presentation by Dr. Michael Neeb, Ph.D., who will speak on the importance of sleep.

Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. for NOGA's Monthly Networking and Program Meeting at Oakleaf Village (4220 N. Holland-Sylvania road, Toledo 43623. Members and guests are invited for a time of networking, lunch is provided, and our presentation by Teresa Shema on "New Rules for Patient Driven Payment Model and Patient Driven Grouping Model for Medicare Part A Services".

Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for NOGA's Monthly Networking and Program Meeting at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio (800 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo 43606). Members and guests are invited for a time of networking, coffee, and to hear a presentation by Dr. Alina Rais on geriatric psychology.
